From the beginning, the focus of
our lives has been an interest in useful animals and in breeding
individuals which would match and surpass the requirements of their breed
standards and intended uses.
Recent births of fullblood red Lowlines in Australia have produced a flood of inquiries on how to successfully breed for red coat color in our cattle, since red cattle are less affected by flies and heat. First of all, to produce a red calf from two black parents requires that both parents are red carriers (Heterozygous Blacks). Developed
