Our Program Today

We have built our herd by selecting foundation animals possessing multiple genetic traits which produce practical, functional, efficient and profitable cattle. This in turn maximizes beef production returns per acre.

By utilizing the Lowline, a low maintenance cattle breed known to have high conversion rates of forage to muscle/flesh, acceptable return on our investment can be maximized no matter the cycle of auction prices.

Deep, broad, thick, and long bodied... high fertility... docile and quiet dispositions... ability to gain weight on pasture grasses without extra grain... these are the highly heritable qualities which make the Lowline an exceptional value in producing natural grassfed beef for today's health-conscious consumer. Their milk is also quite respectable, with 4+% fat content.  And these are the reasons we chose Lowlines.

Meat is the fastest growing segment of the organic foods market, with a 55% increase in 2006. The Lowline's ability to finish on grass positions Lowline breeders to cash in on the growing demand for organic, naturally raised, and grassfed beef.

Our Program Tomorrow

We have a limited number of quality animals to share with other individuals interested in protecting and enhancing our nation's supply of naturally produced gourmet beef and the seedstock from which they come. Our cattle are not the wild free-range animals sold by many producers, our cattle are friendly, come when called, take treats from my hand, and enjoy scratches... even the bull. It isn't necessary to be a "cowboy" to handle the individuals we offer for sale.

If you have questions concerning Lowline cattle, please use the contact link we've provided on our front page and we'll be happy to help however we can.

Meanwhile, the 2006 Denver National Western LOWLINE SALE RESULTS should provide ample evidence of the continuing demand for Lowline bulls and semen for crossbred programs, and an ever-increasing demand for both bulls and females as seedstock for existing as well as new purebred breeding programs. Click the sale results link above to view this important data.
